we spent three nights in a tree house hotel outside of La Fortuna. the property was absolutely lush and beautiful and each tree house was fairly secluded from the others. the beds were made out of tree branches and the tree houses were cozy; pretty tight quarters but it added to the experience! the one slight discomfort, especially since we were visiting during rainy season, was that there wasn't hot water for showers...brrrr! we accomodated and bundled in up in layers :)
