Meeting Little Miss Madeline!

For Easter weekend, I flew to Chicago! Ever since October, when I spent my birthday weekend out there, I had wanted to fly back to experience Easter at their church, in the Anglican Tradition. Easter weekend is the culmination of the Christian calendar and what a celebration it was!

I was also present for the weekend to stand by Nicole and James during Madeline's baptism. This was such an honor; to be able to prayerfully commit to investing in Madeline, alongside her parents, as her Godmother. I couldn't be more humbled and excited to have such a special place in this little one's life. She's stolen my heart already!

She has the sweetest disposition; an easy smile and a contentedness to observe. She's darling!

Love her and her baby!

Nicole's parents, Curtis and Shawna were there too! It was great to see them. During college, I spent every holiday except Christmas with them. They were so welcoming and became my family when I wasn't able to fly home to see mine. :)

We spent an afternoon at Cantigny. It is such a beautiful place and the gardens were bursting with tulips!

Nicole and James also hosted an Easter brunch for some of their friends. Nicole's decorations turned out so cute! Pastels are dreamy this time of year. :)

I love her little smug-bug smile in this one!

Love you, sweet girl!!
