Robyn visits from Seattle-Denver Fun!

One of my dear friends from Seattle came to visit this weekend! This was my first hosting experience in my new place for an out of town guest and it went great. :)

We crammed a whole lot in during her time here so this is the first of three posts about our fun-filled activities for the weekend!

On Friday, we decided to try out a newer restaurant that many of my coworkers had recommended: Linger. It is in the Highlands neighborhood that is really being revitalized and a lot of young people live there. It's just a few minutes from downtown and the food was absolutely delicious!

here she is!

it was so wonderful to see her after over 2 years.
Denver Art Museum does something called 'Final Fridays.' The museum stays open until 10pm and with a general admission fee, you can participate in an interactive evening (live music, activities/crafts, food and wine, etc...). I felt as much a tourist as Robyn did because I am still unfamiliar with everything Denver has to offer. Let me just say, this was so fun!

Some of our evenings activities included: watching roller derby in the promenade, designing our own garments in the interactive space associated with the Yves Saint Laurent fashion exhibit, and quick glimpses into several of the curated galleries. SO FUN!
